Education pillar of Black Caucus’ legislative agenda advances to Pritzker, economic, criminal justice elements still being considered

With time running out before the next General Assembly is sworn in, the Illinois House passed the Legislative Black Caucus’ sweeping economic equity agenda Tuesday, a day after lawmakers sent the caucus’ education measure to Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s desk.
