1 dead, 1 seriously injured at Northwest Side home, Chicago police launch death investigation after carbon monoxide ruled out as cause

Authorities now say that carbon monoxide was not believed to be a factor in the death of a woman and the critical injury of a man in an early Wednesday emergency at a Northwest Side home.
