Whiting blaze damages six-unit apartment building, barbershop

Neither residents nor any Whiting firefighters were injured during the blaze, which started around 9:11 p.m. Sunday and was extinguished around 1 a.m. Monday, Cunningham said, but the building suffered “extensive damage,” including the barbershop.
