Snow remains in forecast but it could come too late to break Chicago’s streak of consecutive snow days.

Chicago looked less likely Thursday to break a longstanding record for consecutive days with measurable snowfall before more seasonable weather this weekend could begin to melt the city's more than 2 feet of snow.
