Black officer organization announces goal to make policing more just, and a ‘symbol of safety and hope’

Organizers of the new Black Public Safety Alliance, which includes dozens of Black Chicago police officers, pledged Sunday to take a leadership role in demanding and building a more just CPD from within its ranks.
