Two Chicago men, one of them out on bond on a weapons charge, shot at a 45-year-old man after trying unsuccessfully to carjack him and then stole the vehicle of a woman who had witnessed the first attack Sunday in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side, authorities said.
