Twenty-five years later, saying grace

That day 25 years ago day started unremarkably, as so many others had: sultry, sunny and hazy, as August mornings will do. We had a few things left to check off our list, with the oldest of our three little ones set to launch into first grade. School was starting the next day in Plainfield.
